2022 SCYM SESSIONS COVID SAFETY PROCEDURES

• Greene Family Camp (GFC) requires all their staff to be vaccinated, wear masks and observe distancing. They will clean the site completely before we arrive.
• We recommend that attendees monitor themselves for symptoms in the days prior to SCYM Sessions. If concerned about a potential positive test result, attendees may want to take a rapid test at home within 24 hours before arriving at camp - but will still be tested at camp.
• All attendees will be required to take a rapid COVID test upon arrival at GFC.
• If an attendee tests positive at camp, they will need to leave the camp. If unable to leave due to transportation issues, the individual will need to isolate in a single room for the duration of their stay.
• Friends are asked to wear masks in public except when eating and maintain safe distancing guidelines during their stay at GFC.
• The registrars plan to house Friends in a way that maximizes the safety of all.

• SCYM Quaker parent mutual support groups provide a supportive forum in which Quaker parents can talk about their parenting and their faith. Parents celebrate one another’s successes and provide fellowship for one another through difficulties.​
• These groups are open to any SCYM Friend currently raising children under the age of nineteen. They are free. Each group is facilitated by two friends whose children are grown. The groups will meet for one hour every other week for a total of 8 gatherings starting in February 2023 at a time agreed on by the participants. The Faith & Practice Development Committee is hard at work facilitating the work of SCYM Friends creating our own Faith & Practice.

We invite all Friends hungry for spiritual community, of all ages, to spend time in worship, reflection, conversation, and play. We bring together Friends from all branches of Quakerism, to share what Spirit-led Quakerism is about at its core—and to experience it together. Quaker Spring summer gathering will be a “hybrid” gathering held from Saturday, June 25th through Tuesday, June 28th, 2022. Those taking part in person are invited to arrive for supper Friday, June 24th.
